Can someone tell me what this could be? (TMI PIC ATTACHED)

I'm currently 40+2 weeks pregnant over the past few days I've been having a lot of watery discharge and been white in colour I've been having a lot of back aches and cramps on and off too since Friday night and feeling really heavy down there. I've just stood up and felt a feeling down there so I went and checked and this is what I found, it doesn't smell or anything. Does anybody know what it could be? Thanks x

Could be waters breaking ? I'd call your midwife. If your waters have broken you may need monitoring as there is a risk of infection.

Could be your Waters. Mine didn't gush, they kind of leaked out over a few hours. Call your midwife

JustFrigginNameChange · 26/04/2020 18:29

Looks like wee, maybe a bit leaked out?

thisisexhausting · 26/04/2020 18:34

This happened to me, they gave me 24 hours to go into labour naturally and then induce me. Call your midwife x

It looks like it could be thin meldonium which could be normal at your gestation. Phone your midwife.

Teetotallyimperfect · 26/04/2020 18:45

Meconium.

FearnRJ · 26/04/2020 19:08

It's a mucus texture x

Looks like how mine were, with both with DS and DD. Both had meconium in the waters, no smell either which was weird. If its mucus, could be the start of your plug. Eitherway, its best to let your midwife know.
All the bestFlowers

To me it looks like a greenish tinge which could suggest some waters with a bit of meconium in it (baby poo). It's very common if you go over. But you can't tell from a photograph so you need to be checked over. Give your midwife a call Smile

Sounds more like it's your plug from the texture you've described, but do get checked.
Good luck!

Thanks everyone x

Sounds like your mucus plug, but slight yellow, green tinge means I would call your maternity line

orlarose · 26/04/2020 19:48

Meconium in the waters is not a good thing btw. Unfortunately it really could be a range of things from wee, increased discharge due to hormones or waters. Put a clean pad on and give maternity a ring.

FearnRJ · 26/04/2020 20:46

I've phoned the midwife and sent her a close up picture she says it's my mucus plug. I did have a sweep on Friday too and since then I've been feeling baby pushing down x
