Is it possible to get used to the morning sickness?

I never was actually sick to start with but the nausea was debilitating. I'm 9 weeks currently and all of a sudden the nausea isn't so overwhelming. Should I be worried? I am kind of starting to feel better almost as if I am not pregnant. I am wretching a lot more through out the day but my appetite seems to be returning. Any advice?

Hey @Asianchick6693 you sound exactly like me. I’ve not been sick once but weeks seven and eight, my god there was one day I cried because I felt nauseous all day and night and couldn’t handle it. I’m nine weeks too and also starting to feel better. I think it’s your body getting used to it and the closer we get to 12 weeks hopefully we will feel a lot better!

@peachypetite so glad I'm not the only one. Any changes to the situation and I start panicking lol I'm constantly anxious but I can't wait for 12 week scan! Sadly DH can't come :(

Exact same here. I'm 9 weeks and have felt much better this week. Week 7 and 8 I could barely move off the sofa, even loud sounds made me feel sicker.

9 weeks here and worryingly have felt better. I’ve had 2 mc previously so always think the worst anyway.

I started feeling less crap around 9-10 weeks when I was pregnant. Was such a relief. All healthy and all fine.

I learnt to adapt to my pregnancy sickness, at least to the moderate days, the awful days stayed awful. After about 9 weeks I started to have less awful days and the sickness reduced a lot by week 10.

I’m 16 weeks now, and my symptoms eased at 9 weeks. Came back with a vengeance at week 10 though 😂

I still have occasional sickness but my exhaustion has gone so that makes it much easier to cope with

21 weeks now and I’ve felt like shit since 5 weeks. Constant nausea and vomiting. I’m so used to it. Third pregnancy and I never feel like ‘normal’ until after the birth, I always feel like I’m walking underwater. It’s hell really.

(Was in excellent drugs which stopped the vomiting but long story, can’t get any more so back to puking).

Connie222 · 24/04/2020 17:12

(I would say it’s all worth it in the end but the two who are already here are 17 and 6 and are royally pissing me off today 😂)

LittleBoyJuly2020 · 24/04/2020 17:13

I started feeling better at 9 weeks, then it came back at about 11 weeks. Felt ok at 16 weeks, felt awful again at 19 weeks.

I'm 27 weeks and that pattern has remained! Thankfully I'm having a good week right now Smile

Enjoy the bits that aren't so awful, and make the most of them!
