Hi all,

I've just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant which was. habit of a shock after a long time trying and being 41 years old... we'd all but given up! I'm having those usual early pregnancy worries in particular drinking like we've been on an extended holiday (daily drinking) during this lock down. Never did I imagine I would be pregnant! Obviously not a drop shall pass my lips from now on, that goes without saying. Did anyone else worry about this when they found out they were pregnant? We've literally be caning it like we were teenagers to my shame to cope with being in isolation... minimum bottle of wine a night...

Congratulations! I was in New York in my early stages of pregnancy, and didn’t know. Drinking to all hours, never sleeping, making the most of my time there. When i got back, a week later I went to the GP as I thought I was jet lagged. Was at this point I found out, and it came as a huge shock, as I’d been told I couldn’t have kids!!

I’m 14weeks now, everything is fine (fingers crossed). When I spoke to my midwife she said people don’t find out for weeks / months. Your still early stages, so try not to worry. X
