What is the actual likelihood of sperm surviving this long? Or does it happen rarely?

Very slim but not unheard of.

Yes low but not impossible.

I have an 11 year old through sperm surviving 6-7 days. Was on the pill but I had to stop taking it 5 days after so I ovulated on day 6 or 7.

It generally survives for up to 5 days but there will always be exceptions

Get a DNA test

My DS1 is the result of sperm surviving 6-7 days. We were trying so I was tracking ovulation with ovulation test sticks when DH unfortunately suffered a rather painful sporting injury and was unable to continue baby dancing for a while 🙈 I carried on tracking and got a positive ovulation test 5 days later so counted us out and expected to try again next month but we were indeed pregnant anyway.
So yes it happens. Are you worried about something in particular? I don't want to make you uncomfortable, we've all had accidents and life's not perfect. No one will judge you.
