3rd pregnancy, but max I've made it previously was 11 weeks and even then hadn't been contacted my them. I'm in central London, and expect even longer delays.

Morning!

I self referred on the 4th April, I'm 7 weeks now and I'm not having any appointment before the 12 week scan. I just got a letter through the post to confirm a scan and the midwife appointment will be after the scan.

They confirmed they aren't doing anything in Essex before 12 weeks.

I had to ring and make my own booking in appt, which takes place roughly between 8-10 weeks. While I was there, she scheduled in my 16 week appt (which is now by phone). Might be worth ringing to check?

I think you have to do the contacting. Or at least that's been my experience.

I called my gp and had a community appt about 6 weeks, then self referred to the maternity service in the hospital, had a booking in arranged at 8 weeks. They booked 12 and 20 week scans.

All the other appts are in the community.

Have you referred yourself to the local maternity services? If so and you haven't heard just give them a call

I self-referred on my hospital website at 4 weeks and I had my scan letter through at 8 weeks. My midwife called me at 10 weeks and came the same day for my booking appointment. This will have changed by now though as I'm 19+2 so this was back in February.

Thanks. To clarify, I did a self referral at 4 weeks, after phone consult with GP.

I did a self referral at 6 weeks , at 7 weeks I got my booking appointment which was for a week later . I’m with Kingston Hospital outside London .

I self referred then had a letter from my booking appointment quite quickly, it ended up being over the phone when I was just passed 10 weeks then a scan with blood tests and urine test at 13 weeks and a day (I had my days 4 days out though)
