Nursery feeding chair

Hi, we are preparing our nursery for our little one due in a few weeks. The room is very small but we'd love to put a nice rocking chair or arm chair in there if we can find a nice, fairly smallish one. Can anyone recommend one please? Thanks very much

We have one of the POÄNG chairs from Ikea. It's been brilliant, compact and comfortable enough for feeding, and (2 years later) stories before bedtime.

Ikea do a few that would be good options - you need one where you can put your feet flat on the floor. Ideally it will have low arms too. It’s a bit of a personal choice depending on your height etc.

Another advocate for the IKEA Poang. I've added a couple of blankets and a cushion to make it extra comfy and snug.

I've just bought this one in grey but they still have it in oat meal. I love it because you can convert it from rocking chair to normal arm chair when you don't need to feed in it any more. Haven't got it out box yet but the other reviews are pretty good.

I bought the aldi one too. It's a really lovely chair and good value for money, but it is big. We have had to move it downstairs as just too big for nursery, so not sure how much use it will get. But as poster above said, great that you can change the legs

I bought this one and absolutely love it. My little one is 14 months now and I still use it ! It’s perfect for nursing and rocking and so comfortable. Plus it looks great! I highly recommend it!!

We got the Kub Haldon (about 160 pounds) it’s compact, I’m 5’10 and feel it might not be deep enough on the seat but OH who is over 6’ finds it comfy. It’s nice looking and was easy to put together
