33 weeks Pregnant- babys head 1/5

Hello,

Had an appointment in which the midwife has said the babys head is 1/5. Firstly what does that mean and secondly does this mean I will give birth earlier?

My second baby kept popping in and out of pelvis at about this point, the following visit he was back out again.

Thank you for your reply. I'm getting uncomfortable now and still have 7 weeks to go. Hopefully it will ease soon.

Same, my babies head was in and out. My midwife said “I think you’ll be early” due to some pains and other signs... I was 11 days late 🤦🏽‍♀️ X

It means 1/5 engaged in the pelvis... I got excited when midwife told me but my little terror was in and out of there and took weeks to get any further... Hope all goes well for you

I think I was trying to gauge whether baby would be early or not as I'm working up until 39 weeks
