So I'm 22+5 with my first child, I don't have the linea nigra, my belly button hasn't popped out and I haven't felt him kick yet (I have an anterior placenta so this makes sense).
His perfectly fine, scans all good and very good heartbeat.
Just feel a bit weird not having all these apparent things I am supposed to have happen?!

@kittykat2020 I don't have any of these things either well apart from the kicking but am 40weeks with my 2nd but with my first I didn't feel kicks until about 25 weeks and had none of the other things either and I to had same position placenta as your self its normal nothing to worry about x

I’m 30 weeks, don’t have the line and belly button is still intact! I think they’re symptoms a lot of people experience but they don’t HAVE to happen if you know what I mean Smile

I'm a week behind you, second pregnancy that's gone this far (5th pregnancy all together).
Belly button never popped on my firstborn. No sign of it doing so now.
Never had a linea Nigra, don't have any signs of one appearing now.
He's probably kicking up a storm but that placenta is going to get in the way. You'll feel it soon enough!

You're stressing for nothing. You might get some symptoms. You might get all symptoms. Some people have nearly no symptoms. Every pregnancy is different!

Im 38 weeks, I felt the odd kick around 22 weeks, but nothing really until a bit later on. I have no line and belly button is the same as before.

Thank you so much!
Sometimes it's just nice to hear you are not alone, I swear this lock down does not help, too much time to think.

I’m 36 weeks and line only appeared a couple of weeks ago! And it is so so faint. And my belly button has never popped out. I know someone with an anterior placenta and she struggles to feel baby move, although her partner can feel it when they are in bed! But this was from about 28 weeks.

LH1987 · 20/04/2020 15:39

31 weeks, belly button still normal, hadn’t even heard of the line till I read this and I didn’t feel any movement at all till close to 22 weeks. Youre right lock down makes panicking worse, as now I don’t even have Big Macs to distract from my worries!

ReturnofSaturn · 20/04/2020 16:17

I never had that in my whole pregnancy, neither did my belly button change.

I didn't even think about it to be honest!

@KittyKat2020 my belly button popped only during my second pregnancy and I never got the linea nigra

stormtrooperjulian · 20/04/2020 16:50

I never got the linea nigra and my belly button never popped out. May not happen for you either.
