Does anyone know when you're supposed to get the test results back after your 12 week scan?

I've not heard back since mine and understand its a busy time so that might be why - it's been a week and a half?

Will it be a letter?

Basically, if it's been that long your result is low-risk. If it comes back as higher risk they call you within 1-3 working days. The lower risk ones get letters in 7-10 working days, IIRC.

In our trust we usually advise that a low chance result will take a couple of weeks to arrive via a letter but an increased chance result is a phone call within a week so hopefully your trust is similar and no news is good news

As far as I remember it was there and then. The tech did the measurements during the scan. I was in my 40s and we had already discussed whether we would have further tests if there was a higher risk. It was some time ago now but I don't remember having to wait for results the two times I had it done.

Same as MadameJosephine we were told we would get a phone call for increased risk results and a letter within around two weeks for low risk results. So maybe give it a few more working days. Good luck!
