Has anyone had a recent abortion during this pandemic and could tell me how easy it was? Or what you had to do? Etc thanks 😞

Not had an abortion but have seen lots of posts about it. It seems you will havexa telephone consultation and then the tablets are available for you to collect from either your GP or chosen pharmacy.
Not sure if they're still checking your gestation with scans or if just going by your last period.

Either way, you can still access an abortion x

@carolebaskinkilledherhusband I live very close to a Marie Stopes centre and it appears to be functioning as normal if that’s of any help.

This is seen quite rightly as an essential service so you should still be able to access full care. If you’re struggling, please contact your GP. I’m a Gp and I would really want to make sure I got you the help you needed

I spoke to my doctor last Friday who gave me the number for BPAS (abortion clinic) and had a phone appointment with a midwife today.. they're posting out the tablets for me to take at home as I am only early on however they did give me the option as well to go to the clinic if I preferred to take the tablets.

Hope you're okay x

I had a telephone appointment and collected the tablets on the same day.
It was a simple process and took a lot of the wait and fear out of the equation. I’ve had one before and it was drawn out with tests and scans.
This was simply a case of taking the tablets home and following the instructions.

Take care x
