Low lying anterior placenta and bleeding

So I am currently 23+4 and I was told at my 20 week scan that I have a low lying placenta and have to have further scan at 32 weeks to see if it has moved.

I weren't told much else, however I googled when was probably the worst thing to do!!

I'm now paranoid to even have sex incase I bleed!

People that have had it before, did you bleed if so, what week in your pregnancy did the bleeding start?

Thank you

I had a scan at 20 weeks and had to go back at 24 weeks - my placenta is also anterior and I was told it's a bit low too so have to go back at 32 weeks to get it checked again. I asked lots of questions as I (don't laugh!) had read Diaries of a Junior Doctor was was paranoid about placenta previa. I'm the type who likes to plan for catastrophe! Sonographer told me that most low lying placentas move as your bump grows and the reason they were bringing me back was to check position. If it doesn't move, I may need to have a section rather than vaginal birth for safety.
I've had no bleeding and to be honest, I genuinely think that if I hadn't wound myself up about the possibility of placenta previa and started asking lots of questions, they wouldn't have told me much beyond saying it's a bit low lying and that it'll be monitored.
I started to google it but had to stop for my own sanity. No bleeding to date, I keep an eye every time I go to loo and hospital said if I do have any to come in straight away but beyond that just carry on as usual.
Fingers crossed all will be well but thinking about it too much will only stress you out. Make sure your birth partner knows to alert your birthing team / midwife when admitted for labour about the placenta if it continues to be low lying, not much you can do now apart from that and stop googling!
