I’m 6+4 today. Started bleeding yesterday - I thought it had stopped but actually it has continued and I’m still bleeding today. It’s light enough to only need a panty liner to protect my underwear and the blood is mainly only when I wipe. It’s been a mix of dark brown and more red but over 24 hours I can’t have bled more than an teaspoon or two-worth. I have some mild cramps a couple of times a day, less than period pain.
I called EPAU but as expected they dont want to see me. They said to call back if I’m bleeding through one pad an hour or passing clots bigger than a 50p or if I have pain that’s not managed with paracetamol.
I understand why they can’t see me and know it has to be that way. I know a scan won’t guarantee anything but it would make me feel better if there is a heartbeat there. I haven’t had any scans yet in this pregnancy.
Will places to Window to the Womb scan you if you are still bleeding? Like I said it’s not a lot, like spotting or very light bleeding, but it is there.
I’m intending to wait a few more days to see what to happens, hoping it will settle in which case I’ll get a scan. If it gets heavier then I’d be going back to NHS, I’m just thinking if it carries on as it is it’s not bad enough to speak to EPAU but not gone away I’ll be in limbo.
