Maternity leave

Just wondering if anybody has gone on to maternity leave at 29 weeks pregnant? Or what's the longest people have worked up until..

Started Mat leave at 40 weeks due date. Baby came 40 + 3

I'm due in August and my current plan is to start my leave a week before my due date. One good thing about the cv19 pandemic is my company has put in place ways that a large chunk of my job can be done from home so ideally (if I get too go back at all!) I will be able to continue at least some wfh in my later weeks to limit the impact of my commute on my wellbeing.
