Exhausted and dizzy - anaemic?

Just wondered if anyone here has anaemia in pregnancy?

I’m 29 weeks and exhausted even after sleeping, I’m drowsy and dizzy, struggling to stay upright and breathless even trying to read my toddler a story. I’m having trouble getting hold of midwife (which I totally understand in the circumstances).

It sounded like it could be anaemia, has anyone had this? Does it sound like this could be the problem, and if so what did you find helped? I’m trying to have more vitamin C and meat etc but it’s not really helping.

Does sound like anemia. Keep trying to get hold of midwife. Are you taking iron tablets?

I was anemic after giving birth and I was dizzy, felt I was lightheaded when I stood up.

It sounds like it, I got put on iron tablets at 31 weeks as my 28 week bloods showed low iron.
I had all those symptoms but never gave iron a thought I just thought it was the HG

Thank you for replying everyone. I’ll call the midwife again tomorrow but also see if anything comes up in my 28 week bloods.
