Silver Cross Wayfarer reviews

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and providing all goes well I’m hoping to buy a pram soon after. Obviously due to the pandemic I’m not able to go and try out a pram before I buy so I’ve been looking online. I’ve seen the Silver Cross Wayfarer but wanted to see if anyone on here has one / has used one and could give me a review?

I have the silvercross coast and it's amazing we looked at all the silvercross prams and they are all amazing and sturdy x

Have ordered the wayfarer, tried it in the shop was sturdy, not too heavy or bulky

We have one, it's very nice, although imo it should be for the cost.. the one thing that's bugs me is that when it's collapsed, when you want to uncollapse it, the catch is too far down the upright, so when it nearly gets to be fully erected, you have a lot of buggy/pram in front of you & it's quite cumbersome, absolutely fine once up tho. Handles well, easy to manoeuvre, lightweight & sturdy

We bought the package, so got the car seat too. My advice is not to get the one that comes with it, it really didn't seem very comfortable for our baby & was a little 'cheap'

We have the Silvercross pioneer, pretty much the same but with a bigger basket. Would look at that at the big basket is so useful. I loved and can’t wait to use again with this baby xx

I also agree re carseat. We bought a Cybex instead, and LOVED it xx

Silver cross are heavy and not so easy to manoeuvre as some others. Definitely recommend waiting until you can try a few out before buying!

Thanks everyone. I’ve decided to order it because it takes weeks to be delivered and I can’t imagine we’ll be out of lockdown anytime soon so excited for it to arrive!!

Glad you’ve ordered it, I have the wayfarer and absolutely love it, I have only one bugbear with it and that’s only that it doesn’t go up pavement steps easily and it’s quiet a heavy pram to lift and tilt especially as baby gets older. Everything else is brilliant the carry cot is huge and my DD used it for naps and got used lots.

DD is over 2 now and it still gets used. DD is my 3rd DC and of all the prams/strollers I’ve had this is the only one I would buy again.

That’s good to know @Lillygolightly thank you!
