Hi i am 18 week pregnant and still i am unable to eat my favorite food items, cheese, pasta, milk. I suffer heart burn and vomiting. Digesting food is a big problem, my hubby upset too. Anyone else has gone through such hard pregnancy?

Hi, I had this too, didn’t have morning sickness during the first trimester but then started vomiting really badly during the second from acid reflux and heartburn. The doctor initially put me on anti sickness medication but I’m now on tablets to reduce the amount of stomach acid I’m producing, it’s made a big difference and I haven’t been sick for a couple of weeks. Definitely worth ringing the doctor and seeing what they suggest.

Yes I had sickness until about 14 weeks, it went away but then came back with a vengeance about 18 weeks (24 weeks now), along with heartburn and reflux. Grim. I feel your pain!

I had this the whole way through on both pregnancies, not fun! I never want to see Gaviscon again! Flowers
