24 week midwife appointments

Just wanted to get people's opinions.
Iv got a 24 week midwife appointment in 2 weeks time. They have moved clinic this week due to the hospital it's normally in being a CV hospital now 😷

How important is this appointment?
I have uti sticks at home & blood pressure monitor so can check that from home.
If I feel ok I'd be more than happy for a phone appointment.

My concern is if it's not that important I'm risking getting CV as the midwifes have obviously been in this infected hospital until now.
It's only a very small hospital and apparently is turning into an overflow for people with CV.

They'll probably cancel that one anyway and do over the phone. My midwife did and I know other people have had the same. They probably want to see you at 28 weeks tho as they start measuring from then

I was due to have mine on Thursday. Got a phone call today to cancel it (or rather, convert it to a telephone appointment)

Ok thank you. That's good to no.
I'll have to wait and see what they decide :)

Yes, midwife rang and gave me the option to change to a phone call instead, though I was looking forward to the appointment the 'right' answer both for me and the midwife was obviously to do it by phone so I went with that.

I do hope they do want to see me for the 28 week one as would like some reassurance with measurements etc.
