Clear Blue early detection - Positive?!

So yesterday I was one day late (out of character for me) and I thought I would do a test late afternoon as my boobs were so sore. It showed with a line, see photo!

Was so excited! Then did a FRER this morning with first morning urine and I can't see anything so very confused and still haven't come on my period which is now two days late.

I have one more test left - a Clear Blue digital but thinking of holding out until later or maybe tomorrow.

Anyone else have this and go on to have other positive tests?

I can clearly see the line.
Try waiting a day or two and retest. You might be a bit earlier than you think.
My FMU tests were not as dark as those done later in the afternoon/evening.

I have a few cramps and it is making me feel anxious. Does this look like a proper line to you? You heat so many stories about evap lines. I will wait until tomorrow and do the other test (that's if I don't give in)

I can see the line and looks pretty blue so don’t think it’s an evap. Good luck for testing tomorrow 🤞🤞

I've just been to the loo and had a small amount of brown blood...does that mean it was a fake positive? Have had slight cramps too. Hmm

Sorry about the bleeding. It could have been a chemical or brown blood can be normal in early pregnancy. Think all you can do is keep an eye on it today and test again tomorrow/day after. Got my 🤞 for you

Thank you 🤞🏼

Congratulations!
All 3 of my pregnancies showed a light blue line.
The brown blood can be normal at the start of pregnancy and I had terrible cramps at the beginning of the first 2 and just cramps/aches with my 3rd. I was told that it was implantation pain.
I hope that all goes well, early days are so difficult, waiting to see if the pregnancy will take.

Clear blue are unreliable I'm afraid. I think the negative first response and bleeding are more likely the truth of what's to come.

Hi OP

I don’t want to give false hope but in the same week I had:
1 x FRER False negative
1 x Clear Blue early detection false negative
1 x CBED total dud! Not even a control line

These were all different packs.

I took a CB digital and got my positive result and am now 24 weeks pregnant!

The brown blood could be old blood which could imply implantation bleeding! Also I had cramping/pelvic pain throughout my first trimester!

I 100% see lines in your tests xx

Bluegem01 · 31/03/2020 16:24

I started my period so it was definitely a false negative. 😕
