Heart palpitations during pregnancy

Been getting heart palpitations since 1 week on and off I am 21 weeks did anyone else experience this?

I had some last night! I was quite anxious last night though so it could have been related to that. I'm 5 weeks pregnant so quite early compared to you

Yeah I'm 21 weeks too and get them now and again I think it's just hormonal I'm not too worried.

I got them in my last pregnancy. I think it turned out to be caused by really early Braxton Hicks. Can't quite remember

There are certain arrhythmia's that are first diagnosed in pregnancy due to the extra strain on the heart. I was having frequent episodes of my heart racing during my second pregnancy, increasing in frequency the bigger I got. Was eventually diagnosed with supra ventricular tachycardia at about 32 weeks when I finally got an ecg and they caught an episode when wired up.

I was fobbed if with it being normal for pregnancy, it wasn't. However it's pretty benign and can't do anything while pregnant. It did make my birth plan a little more complicated though

I got diagnosed with an ectopic beat during pregnancy, had to wear a 24hr ecg, like pp said the extra work can expose things. Is pretty harmless and did just have racing feeling from time to time that I still get occasionally but was worse in preg.
