Folic acid advised until 12 weeks. Vitamin D advised for the rest of pregnancy. Are you taking supplements for your anaemia?

@julia2001 my midwife said to me that I can still carry on taking it(I'm currently 18+3) if I want to to as it doesn't do any harm plus it's good for your iron levels I think 🤔

AGoodDay · 22/03/2020 09:44

midwives are split on whether you should continue or not, it's in pregnancy vitamins but some think it causes tongue tie.

thanks, yeah it has iron in it thats why i wanted to continue taking it as it one of the only things that doesnt make me throw up.
