I'm now really worried about this, I'm 27 weeks and this is my first child. I'll be honest, I'm clueless as is my husband. We are booked on to an NCT course which starts next month but I'm worried they'll be cancelled too. Is there any good YouTube videos to help prepare us for the birth? Preferably ones that won't scare my DH x

Try the positive birthing company? It's paid but often on offer - I got mine for £12

Don't forget, we were all clueless once! Take care x

There is lots of information to be found online and I'd imagine they would send out info packs (it's a big PowerPoint presentations) so i think that would be sensible. Try not to panic it is scary but go on NHS website and there's lots of info to be found.

NCT are moving theirs all to a virtual format from tomorrow - interactive sessions plus extra support from the teachers away from that. I got an email today about mine so you should hear nearer the time

TBH all they did at our NHS antenatal classes was show us videos online and go through things that were in the book anyway so wouldn’t worry about them being cancelled- they were pretty rubbish!

I never went to any but found The Positive Birth Book very useful.
