Yesterday I got home from work and went to the toilet and found the smallest amount of blood in my knickers, spoke to a maternity triage unit and she said because I had no pain, very very light bleeding and no more than a £2 coin and nothing when I wiped she put it down to the fact my cervix may have been interrupted during sex. Anyone else experienced this? Theres no sign of anything now! It's been a very calm hassle free pregnancy so far after a miscarriage in October and no I'm beginning to stress that it may turn into something more.

Yep, I had this through early pregnancy, the most worrying case being the same as yours. Small amount of blood after going to the loo.

I called the EPU and they said it's normal as long as it's not a lot of blood (they said enough to fill a sanitary towel). I'm 22 weeks now and baby is healthy.

Oh glad someone else has gone through it as well, it definitely makes me feel better that there has been no sign of anything all day. Surely if it was something to worry about it would continue wouldn't it?

I was told so, yes. My midwife and EPU both said only to worry if there's lots of blood plus cramping. Plus you're in your 2nd trimester so the chances of MC has dropped quite a lot!
