Temporary move during pregnancy/birth

I am half way through my pregnancy and have already discussed the aim to have a home birth with my current midwifery team.
So far, (health wise) so good, though I'm realistic and aware that things can change/deteriorate.
I am seriously considering staying at my family's holiday home from about 8 months and aiming to have a home birth there. It's about two hours away and obviously in a different county.
Has anyone done this before?
Who would I discuss this with first - current midwifery team, possible new midwifery team? Do I inform health visiting team? Do I just register as a temp patient at my family's holiday home local GP surgery and everything flows from there?
I will obviously be coming back home after but I don't know when I aim to do this. Does having no timescale matter?
