Sore stomach/bump muscles

My stomach muscles are so sore the last few days (I am 22 weeks), feels like the are pulled/stretched/not long enough when I stand up. This is my second pregnancy and don’t remember it from before. I also thought it’s more likely to happen first time as surely my muscles have stretched that way before. It’s only when I stand and eases the longer I stand/walk. Worries me how uncomfortable it is when I have so much more growing to do. Has anyone else had this? Any tips to make it feels better? X

Speak to your midwife. It's quite normal and they can refer you for physio. Congrats

I have days like this and I'm just turning 20 weeks. However first pregnancy.

I'm sure it's normal and no exactly what you mean like you can't stand up straight. But it does ease the more I move like yourself. Or doesn't hurt at all if sat down.

I know what you mean. I'm 19 weeks and especially first thing it reminds me of the same feeling of after I've had a really bad upset stomach, like your stomach is bruised.
I think it's just another joy of pregnancy, perhaps take some paracetamol and try a bath if you often do those things. Definitely speak to midwife as I'm sure it's normal but she will be able to advise.

I have had this recently, but I am almost 33 weeks so a few months on. It lasted around a day of really bad bruising sensation but seems to have stopped now and just the odd bit here and there only lasts 30 mins or so.
