Hi all, this is my first post so im a little nervous, bit of background info, i had an ectopic back in 2018 and my right tube was removed, weve been having unprotected sex since and on monday the 9th i realized i was late, took a test and too my shock it came out positive, didnt quite believe it which lead me todo another 4 throughout the evening and the next morning, in total 5 positive pregnancy tests. I've been booked in for an early scan next week where ill be 6 weeks, im really nervous about this and im so scared its going to be another ectopic i dont think i can handle another heartbreak like that, has anyone got any advise? or some of their own stories they dont mind sharing, next week seems so far away right now and im trying not to worry about it too much but also cannot help it.

thanks xxx

Hiya. I just wanted to reply to say the exact same happened to me. I had ectopic in 2018 and had my right rube removed. I found out I was pregnant in October and had to go for a scan at 6 weeks.
I was so nervous! At the scan they could see the sac was in the right place but the baby was measuring slightly smaller than it should have been and no heartbeat detected. They told me to go home and come back at 8 week and check for progress.
It was the longest wait of my life, I totally expected the worst but when I went back my little pip was there, heart beating away ❤️
I am now 26 weeks pregnant and everything is going great. I still get worried something will go wrong but I'm trying my best to keep positive! Hope everything goes OK for you. Let us know xx

hey, thanks for replying! ahhh congratulations!! it feels hard to explain it to people who dont understand and also i havent really told anyone about from my partner, his parents and mine purely for the fact we want to know if everything is ok first, yeah when i go for my scan i will be 6 weeks exact so i have been warned that they might not be able to detect a heartbeat but that would be completely normal, right now for me and other half its just finding out if little one is in the right place, im trying to not to worry to much but i dont want to be too happy or too negative so its a hard call at the moment, but will keep you updated, so happy everything worked out for you xxx

Funnily enough my situation was also almost identical, I had an ectopic in October 2018 with my right tube removed. I had a positive test in December & also went for my early scan at 6 weeks - measuring small but heartbeat strong. I am now 17 weeks pregnant with a healthy (wriggly) baby boy! Try not to be so anxious now, I still spent so much of my pregnancy anxious even after knowing it was in the right place! Keep us posted & congratulations ❤️

Thank you all so much, bwSB, massive congratulations! im having a 9 week scan in April just to double check everything again, so be nice to see how much has changed as the scan photo i have now is just such a little bean!!, I feel like every twitch and pain my brain instantly goes into panic but i have to keep reminding myself that i now know little one is in the right place, but i still cant help it! wishing you the best in the rest of your pregnancy!!

Thank you for the vote of confidence everyone, feel so nice
