Gastroschisis in first pregnancy... worried

Hi all, I was looking for a bit of support. I'm currently 15 weeks pregnant today and last week at a 14 week scan i found out my baby has gastroschisis and part of baby's bowel is growing outside of their body. They talked me through it and they said it's more common than you think it is, and they said the hospital i'm due to give birth at (Leeds LGI) can treat it meaning i don't have to travel when baby is born. I know it's a fix when baby is born but i was wondering if anyone on here has gone through having a baby born with the same issue just because as much as doctors can tell me everything is okay, i just feel so overwhelmed at them moment. Any advice would be great Smile xxx

Hey, I’m 15 weeks this week and have been told they think my baby has gastroschisis also, next week I’m going to fetal medicine for scan for them to tell me what’s going on, I’ve cried for days and I’m so anxious and scared. I can’t help but google and worry 😓
