I went to the doctors yesterday for a second time as my last period was 6th Jan. 3rd Feb c section scar cramps, 4th Feb had spotting. I have had shoulder collarbone pain going on the last couple of weeks. The pain swapping between my left and right shoulder. Most of the time it is on the right but today it is the left. The pains radiates from middle of the shoulders to back of shoulder blades I have all classic pregnancy symptoms sore breasts, eating more, feeling more tired, nausea, stretching pain that comes and goes in my sides.I have had odd nights of sweating. Alternating between constipation and loose stools. Odd days of feeling light headed. I am having a stabbing pain in my bikini line on the right. My pregnancy tests keep changing from faint positive to negative. Tested faint positive Yesterday at home and Negative at the doctors went for blood tests yesterday now anxiously waiting for results. My husband is working as main manager at his job this week to cover for the other manager who is sick. So I am home alone with my 2 year old son. Childcare is impossible for my son most of the time. I am really terrified. Can anyone tell me experiences of ectopic? If anyone had blood tests how long did it take to get results?

I've had an ectopic, I can't remember how long the tests took as 19 yrs ago.

Go to your EPAC, I had an internal scan which with the blood tests diagnosed the ectopic. It was life threatening so was whisked off to surgery within hours.

You need to see someone today

I had a suspected ectopic (baby is fine) - went straight to A+E that evening and was seen the next morning for a scan. If you are genuinely worried it's not worth risking it. Go to A+E.

Update went to A and E blood tests were negative. Was told I possibly have shoulder sprain. Advised to take ibrophen for it. I am now more confused than ever. It's odd that I had a in period January then spotting in February but no period. Now wondering if it could have been a chemical pregnancy or if was ever pregnant to begin with?

How strange OP! I'm glad you've been seen today, take it easy and maybe see your GP in a few weeks about your periods?
