This is a weird one and I can't seem to find anything like it anywhere on the internet!
I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Baby is moving just fine, no changes to his normal pattern. I'm feeling normal too.
However for the last hour I have been hearing noises from the bump! It's a very rhythmic sound, like a slow heartbeat, and very audible. It's coming from the lower part of my uterus. I have no idea what this could possibly be??
I phoned maternity triage but they didn't seem too concerned; they said it could just be hiccups. But whenever my baby has the hiccups I can feel his body twitch. I'm not feeling it now, it's just this sound (plus his usual movements every now and again).
This is a long shot but has anyone experienced anything similar??
