How many weeks pregnant am I ?

Hello everyone :) I am trying to work out how many weeks pregnant I am but it is difficult because of my irregular periods. My last period was 6.1.20, lasting the usual 6/7 days. My cycles are between say 35-39 sometimes even 40ish days. When I took clear blue digital test two weeks ago it said 3 + weeks, same again few days ago.
I have not booked appointment yet, I am not worried because other than sore breasts and tiredness I feel ok. Mood swings to. But no nausea ?
According to pregnancy calculator I am at least 6/7 weeks.... and says most women have morning sickness by now and I have not had any? Is that a bad sign? Will book appointment soon.

Thanks for any help.

I mean I am worried at lack of nausea because every article saying really by 6 weeks I should be starting to feel morning sickness ? And says bad sign if no nausea ?

Firstly, relax. You already sound quite anxious/worked up/over thinking everything, just breathe.

I found the clear blue reasonably accurate, but you’re best bet is to call the midwife and chat it through, who then will potentially arrange a scan to check dates if needs be.

Also, stop worrying about the sickness. Some people get it, some don’t, it really isn’t any sort of sign.

I am overthinking everything and feeling anxious I will try and relax thanks.

Give your doctors a call and ask to speak to a midwife, they will be able to reassure you x

I never had a second of morning sickness with my pregnancy. I initially worried it was a bad sign. And then was really happy I got away scot free without suffering from it. And then suffered a whole bunch of other complications instead!
Pregnancy can be quite a roller coaster.
Don’t stress yourself out looking for things to overthink. Enjoy not puking your guts up!

I'm 27+3 with my third and suffer from very bad anxiety. Was so worried as I didn't feel sick at all until about 9 weeks. And even then I was never actually sick. It was the same with my first two pregnancies so guess I was just lucky. Try not to worry althpugh I know that's difficult!

Thanks this is my first pregnancy feel completely unsure about everything haha I called the booking appointment line and they gave me 24th March for first midwife appointment and 6th of April for first scan.

Quick question is that normal to wait that long? My last menstrual period 6.1.20 and my first appointment 24th March ? Then the scan 6th April ?

If your cycle is on average 37 days your next period would have been due 12/2. If you ovulate a standard 14 days before the start of your period, I think you would have ovulated around 29/1. If you count the day of ovulation as two weeks pregnant, that would make you 6wks 5days as of 2/3.
I have found that just using the date of last period is inaccurate for me because I have a longer cycle and therefore ovulate and conceive later so the pregnancy is not as advanced as my dates would suggest. Pregnancy is about 38 weeks from conception, not 40 weeks from LMP, unless your cycle is 28 days in which case these dates are the same.

Thank you that is helpful 😊

@mandy29x firstly congratulations! Secondly, your appointments sound fine, my LMP was 4 Jan and I had my midwife appointment last Friday, however, that was pretty early compared to others I've seen. Think it just depends on how busy they are! I dont have my scan date, but I'm expecting it to be around the same date as yours as I'll be 12/13 weeks then :)

Thank you congratulations to you to 😊
