Diarrhea + Nausea + Tightenings - 28 weeks

Hi all. Apologies if this is slightly long.

I'm 28 + 3.

I've been up to the assessment unit twice this last week because of tightenings that were very painful with period pain cramping. The dr there (on the second trip) told me that the diarrhea I've been having caused my uterus to be irritable, I was told to take some paracetamol and rest.

Last night I was awoken at 3 am with tightenings and very painful cramps. They become quite regular so I was timing them. In between all this, I had 2 rounds of diarrhoea again. After 2 hours the cramps and tightenings stopped. Anyway, I called the assessment unit and they said it was the irritable uterus again and just to keep an eye on it.

Now today/this evening, I have had more diarrhoea and I'm starting to feel sick because of the cramping pains. I'm still getting tightenings on and off but no pattern to them.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar and/or do I need to be concerned enough to call them back again?
I really don't want to waste their time by going back a third time with the same problem! Baby is moving as normal.

Thanks a lot.
