Low blood pressure

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I have been feeling dizzy, tired and genuinely yuck for the last couple of weeks and actually fainted on Tuesday. I went to my doctor today who took my blood pressure and it's 80/50! Very low, he took some bloods aswell but didn't seem worried. Has anyone else had low blood pressure in pregnancy? How long did it last? Anything I can do to help? I'm drinking loads of water and eating regularly etc but it's really not a nice feeling!

Sounds like you're doing the right things. I read salty snacks can help if you are suffering from a faint spell. I've had this a few times tends to happen if I've accidentally slept on my back

Hey @chocolate26

Sorry to hear you’re feeling poop at the moment. I also have very low blood pressure 80/40 at one point and it definitely made me feel very dizzy, tired and out of sorts. My midwife just said not to worry and that this is the lowest part of pregnancy for blood pressure and it should naturally start to go up in the next few weeks. Just don’t stand up too quickly and try and drink lots of water to stay hydrated. I tried the in flight compression socks - but not sure it helped! Hope you feel better soon x
