Advice on growth scan

Hi all,
So i need some advice on a growth scan i had yesterday if possible.
At my 20 week Anomaly scan the measurements were:
HC - 91%
AC - 74%
Femur - 92%
EFW - 91%
This was fine and since then i had my 25 week GP appointment and she told me were having a big baby (not sure how she can know that already to be honest) When i told the midwife this she did just say 'how does she know?'
Anyway i had a consultant appointment at 26 weeks and i mentioned movements were on and off and so she sent me for a scan. Measurements were:
HC - 74%
AC - 76%
Femur - 56%
EFW - 72%
I asked the consultant why they had dropped (first baby so not a clue about all this) She just said he's finding his own path and they are fine.
Went in on sunday at 29+2 with reduced movements and midwife put me on the monitor and said movements/heartbeat is fine but she had a feel and said i'm having a small baby. I was confused after the previous he's going to be big comments. She seemed concerned so sent me for another growth scan yesterday. Measurements are:
HC - 79%
AC - 73%
Femur - 29%
EFW - 56%

I know the HC and AC haven't changed much at all so i'm happy with that, but wondered why the femur and EFW have dropped so much. She said she's happy with them as she would only worry if the AC had dropped a lot.
Can anyone explain how this all works and that his legs going from 92% to 29% is actually ok? to me that seems a big drop and i'm a little concerned.

Sorry for the long post!

Not a midwife but from what I understand the femer reading is less accurate and can depend a bit on the angle / position of the baby which is why the midwife was more concerned with head and abdominal readings.
If your medical team are happy with how everything is going then try and relax and go with it. It does sound like you will have a larger baby as the scan measurements are alot more accurate than stomach measurements.
