Hi ladies, so I am pregnant with my first and have reached about 29 weeks. I am so tired all the time already!! Feel like I just want to slob on the sofa all the time and even walking up the stairs is beginning to feel like hard work! And I don't even have any other kids to run around after!

Is this perfectly normal? I was unusual because I didn't get any first trimester tiredness so this is the tiredest I've felt all pregnancy! I have been trying to keep exercising in pregnancy... i was a casual runner before pregnancy, kept that up to 12 weeks but now switched to swimming and pregnancy yoga... but I have to really make myself do it!

Thought I'd have a bit longer before I felt like a zombie / couch potato!! X

I am only 10 weeks and I am totally exhausted!! I do think it is normal, your body is going through massive changes.

Yes completely normal! The final trimester is exhausting.

You might need to get your iron levels checked OP, when was your last blood test?

I'm 26 weeks, I had blood tests results last week which showed my levels were a bit low and in retrospect I'm so tired in the afternoons and have been for a while! Not enjoying side effects of iron tablets though 😬

Its tiring growing a baby!

I'm 26 weeks now but been tired since the beginning 😴 I went to the doctors a few weeks ago and they checked my iron levels which were really low, apparently they were low on the initial blood tests my midwife did but she never shared that with me...! I'm on iron tablets now and although I'm still exhausted they do take the edge off and I'm getting more done than before.
My bed has never been so hard to get out of though (and not just because of the pelvic pain 😂)

You should get your iron levels checked, might be that you are anaemic. Pregnancy is tiring though, I’m almost 25 weeks and feel drained of all energy. I do have another child to look after though which doesn’t help! Take the opportunity to rest when you can.

I had bloods taken about a week ago and I believe they were testing my iron levels... They said they would call me if there was any issue, I've not heard anything so I assume no concerns.

I managed aqua aerobics yesterday evening (after a very lazy day!) And I also went to my usual pregnancy yoga class tonight... felt really tired at yoga but guess it is 2 nights in a row. I think it must just be normal pregnancy tiredness, I've just not felt like this before!

I would phone your doctors and ask. I had to phone to get my results even though I was told they'd phone if there was a problem

I think it's quite normal to feel pretty tired. However I may be worth chasing the iron level test. I had mine tested at 28 weeks, but no one told me my levels where low until I had an appointment at 32 weeks.
