Not enjoying water!

I'm 9+4 I've really not been enjoying the "taste" of water the last few days.

Totally off tea, apple juice, orange too.

I'm trying my best to have as much water as I can but I'm finding it a struggle to get it down me with nausea so rife. What can I drink to help me keep fluids up? I'm not really into sweet flavours either currently🤦‍♀️.

I'm bad with morning sickness at the moment I am 8 weeks today n all I seem to want to eat is biscuits chocolate and crackers. One thing I have been trying is ginger biscuits and ginger tea that seems to be helping me on some days.

Hot water? Herbal tea? Tonic water?

I'm finding that what I like/dislike changes every week of so and it's really difficult to stay hydrated!

I'm exactly the same. I'm so dehydrated yet can't stomach drinking anything. I've bought a bottle of sparking water today to see if it helps.

I know I'm dehydrated but can't do anything about it. I wish I was on a drip!

I drank pints and pints of ribena through my pregnancy- went of it towards the end - there's only so many times you can throw something up before you don't want it any more!!!

Try different flavoured squash. I never used to like orange squash but drank loads of it recently. Also elderflower and apple cordial. Just go to the squash isle and see what you fancy and give it a try!

I found sparkling water good because it kind of tastes sodiumy? 😂 I can’t explain it but it’s not sweet. The burping helped feeling nauseous too!

Beau2020 · 17/02/2020 15:23

Sparkling water helped me and squash! Also peppermint tea or ginger tea if you manage that?

BaronessBomburst · 17/02/2020 15:26

I could only drink sparkling water and grapefruit juice.

Miso soup, or bovril?
Savoury hot drinks might work better.
I'm not pg but find savoury much better for me when I'm nauseous.

Notacareintheworld · 17/02/2020 15:35

@Chanel05 I am the same and have tried squirting a little bit of the Robinsons squash’s into water, just enough for a flight taste as I also dislike flavoured water and working ok 🙌🏻

That is bizarre it came up with different name there when I posted 😳
