how does everyone stay sane?! 😂 every day really really is dragging and I'm only 13 weeks.. especially with bad anxiety and also I am working and staying busy but the days are soooo slow :( x

I agree with you. Every second is like hours during pregnancy. With morning sickness every second is like days. I used to check my "days to go" pregnancy app 3x per day and get angry when the number hadn't got any lower.

Bezalelle · 15/02/2020 05:15

I'm waiting for that magical moment that people talk about, when the sickness disappears and time starts to fly by!

GaaaaarlicBread · 15/02/2020 05:47

I’m waiting too! 12 weeks and it feels like I’ve been pregnant forever !! Currently up coughing my guys up with tonsillitis and feeling like death , limited to medicine I can take ! I’ve only just had my 12 week scan so the 20 week scan feels forever away!!

Firstbaby2019x · 15/02/2020 07:16

Bear with it. I found my first trimester went very slowly but as soon as I was in the second, I started to feel more like myself so time flew! Just try and enjoy it for what it is at all stages.

Dollywilde · 15/02/2020 07:18

I’m just focusing on stages. I’ve got less than 3 weeks until my next midwife appt, then after that 4 weeks until my scan, then after that we plan to start shopping so hopefully that’ll pass some time Grin

Dollywilde · 15/02/2020 07:20

Plus at 14+4 today I figure that I’ll feel kicks by the end of March so it’ll feel really real then!

kb16 · 15/02/2020 07:22

I feel you! 2nd trimester defo goes quicker, I'm now 34 weeks and feel like time is well and truly dragging again 🙄

SapphosRock · 15/02/2020 07:23

I'm 31+ 2 and feel like I have been pregnant forever. It does go quicker after the 20 week scan though.

mumma2b2020 · 15/02/2020 07:27

I'm nearly 34 weeks and after around 13 weeks, my pregnancy FLEW by! @denbyellie

Chanel05 · 15/02/2020 07:33

Yes it totally does! I'm 9+3 and I found out at 3+3! My scan isn't until 12+5 so time is well and truly dragging. I don't even have my booking appointment arranged yet!

sel2223 · 15/02/2020 08:15

@Dollywilde I'm the same....focusing on the next stage rather than overwhelming myself thinking of the full pregnancy
1 week till next consultants appt then 1 week after that till midwife then 4 weeks after that till anomaly scan etc
It definitely helps x

Betsyboo87 · 15/02/2020 08:32

The first trimester was absolutely the slowest time of my life. So far the second trimester has probably been the quickest part of my life! 21 weeks now and the last weeks have gone by in a flash. I expect it’ll slow down again towards the end though.
