Coughing triggering morning sickness

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else experiences this. My MS seems quite mild in that I don’t throw up too much but feel nauseous constantly. However, i’ve noticed that if I do throw up, it’s always after i’ve coughed/cleared my throat in some way. It’s like it triggers my gag reflex! Anyone else find this? As such, i’m trying really hard not to cough as I know it will bring it on, but thats hard as pregnancy has made my mouth so full of saliva which I need to clear. Oh the joys of pregnancy eh?! 🤣

Oh yes sounds very familiar! I had quite bad morning sickness anyway, but I developed a cough too and that would trigger vomiting! The problem is you can’t really help coughing and sometimes it’s not at convenient times Blush
If it’s any consolation in now 17 weeks and all has settled!

Yes, had this current pregnancy. Also could barely wash my teeth without needing to vomit, that was triggering also.
