I've recently been hearing blood flow in my right ear, not all the time just when my body is strained I guess. So I googled it... Has anyone else experienced it? Do you think it's worth telling the mw now or wait till my next appointment which is Thurs next week?

I got this , it started so bad the other day !! I’m deaf but the tinnitus is very obvious to me , even with my hearing aids in. I’m thinking of telling my midwife , I didn’t even put the pregnancy and tinnitus together !

I can't help, but I'm in exactly the same boat and feeling exactly the same!

I thought it might be a cold, but I'm just not convinced. I'm going to tell my midwife at my appointment on Thursday.

According to Google it can be an indicator of pre eclampsia but I gathered it can also just be an annoying symptom from pregnancy. I don't think I have any other pre eclampsia symptoms though so probably will just wait for my appointment.
Let me know if either of you speak to your mw please.

I’m seeing my MW on Thursday so I’ll let you know. I’m currently battling tonsillitis that has come Back three days after finishing Amoxicillin 😩😷

I would say something to your midwife - I also had this when pregnant and still have it three years later. I’m currently waiting an appointment with the ENT specialist, but it has taken an age to get an appointment after the GP had fobbed me off with it previously. I wish I’d made my midwife aware at the time as it might have been taken seriously sooner.

@itsemily I alas have the mw on Thursday.

@minibea how awful for you. I'm hoping mine goes by the time I've had my baby. I just thought it was extra blood flow causing it. Do you have high blood pressure?

@Delbelleber no, not got high blood pressure- in fact I was regularly faint when I was pregnant because of low blood pressure! Hopefully will get some answers when the ENT appointment finally rolls round!

Weirdly enough I haven't experienced it at all today!
