Does anyone take any other vitamins apart from Folic Acid and Vitamin D?
My GP only reccomended those but should i take any pregnancy multivitamins instead?

Those are the only ones you really should take. If you want to spend extra money on multivitamins that's totally up to you but there isnt much evidence that it makes any difference. Baby will get what it needs from your body. I also found that multivitamin with iron gave me awful constipation so worth knowing!

Many thanks @21:45RhymingRabbit3. Ive been reading that many other mums to be are taking multivitamins and was curious what is anyone else taking.

Folic acid is all you need really which is beneficial for both you and baby. I took the Pregnacare brand one which is combined with Vitamin D, Zinc, Iron and B12. They also contain no vitamin A which isn't recommended in pregnancy. Halo

I take folic acid and vitamin D3 pill. The pregnancy vitamins (pregnecare) made my morning sickness a lot worse and have me awful stomach cramps

I took Boots own brand vitamin D and folic acid to start with and on some days where the sickness kicked in but otherwise used Asda own brand. There's a tablet and capsule. My midwife mentioned a few weeks back that they had exactly the same as Pregnacare

I originally before I got pregnant started with folic acids and then when I found out I was pregnant moved on to pregnacare. Big mistake for me as I got the worse constipation that I had to stop taking it and now stick with folic acids. But every woman is different.
