Maternity leave questions - confused!

I work full time for quite a big company. I go on maternity leave at the end of the month, and handed in my company maternity forms and also a ACAS shared parental form into our HR department at the start of January which they confirmed receipt of.

Since then I haven't heard anything back from them and have just presumed I'm ok to go on leave at the dates I requested? Am I supposed to hear anything back or get anything from the government confirming everything? I have asked them twice if everything has gone through ok and they've just said yes they've received the forms. I just want to know everything has gone through ok and also what I will be getting paid but I'm just getting nothing from them!

If they have confirmed receipt of your forms with your start of maternity leave on them that that is all you need.

Regarding pay, there should be a policy on maternity pay setting out what(if any) additional maternity pay you will get and for how long. If you cant find it in your system request it from HR.

Yes they should have written to you confirming maternity start dates. They should also confirm the shared parental leave terms

www.gov.uk/maternity-pay-leave/how-to-claim says they should write to you within 28 days of giving them the info
