Awful cramping at 5+3

This is my first post and any advice would be gratefully received.

I am currently 5+3 with a due date of 1st of October. This is my 3rd pregnancy, although it has been a while, my youngest is 11 years old.

For the past 4-5 days I have been getting awful cramps. They do not come and go, it is a constant dull ache. It feels similar to period cramps but a lot more painful. I had some mild cramping with my other pregnancies but not to this extent.

I have had no bleeding and everything else seems normal. I am starting to worry and my midwife appointment isn't until the 19th Feb. I'm not sure if this is something to be concerned about or if it is normal?

Congratulations, I'm 5+2 and getting pretty similar symptoms.. Also my 3rd.. Think it's just the boating and stretching. Long as there's no bleeding try to relax :)

I had cramping from week 4 til 11. It would wake me up and make me feel so sick. It worried me but was told by my midwife only to worry when it's accompanied by bright red bleeding. I'm now 16 weeks and everything is fine.

Congratulations to you both 😊

Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better.
