Low amniotic fluid for gestation (28 weeks)

Hi,

Just looking for some experience/stories/reassurance about pregnancies with low levels of fluid.

I'm 28+6 and yesterday at a routine growth scan, it was highlighted I only have one pool of fluid and the levels are low (2.4cm to be precise).
I've got an extra scan next week to check my levels and have been told to drink as much water as I can and lie on my left hand side for 2 hours a day as it helps fluid production.

I've looked this up and I know that you can have a normal pregnancy, most likely to go in to early labour or an increased chance of section.

As a first time mum this is scary for me. I've got so many appointments over the next couple of weeks, I'm there twice in one day over the next weeks. I don't care, because it's for good reason and I'd do anything to make sure the baby was ok.

I can't find any recent posts about this so would love to hear of any recent stories or experiences as reassurance.

Thanks.
