Brown tinges at 9 weeks

Ok so I'm 9 weeks preg and had tiny bits of brown tinges when I wipes after a wee this morning. I panicked and took myself of toEPU who confirmed all good and saw heartbeat etc but it's happened again tonight and again really really light. I'm not too worried as all was fine earlier but just wondered if this has happened to anyone else around 9 weeks and what was the outcome

Brown tends to mean old blood. Have you had cramping at all?

I had brown bleeding when I miscarried but it very quickly turned from brown to bright red and got heavier. If it is just spotting and the scan was ok and matched your dates I would take great comfort in that and just try and rest up as much as you can. My scan showed a slow heartbeat and I was weeks less than I should be which all indicates bad news.

@dingdongmer you are a little further along than me (I'm 6+5), but I've been having brown spotting for the last week. It started after I had an early scan a week ago after my doctor wanted to rule out an ectopic. I think that anything brown is old blood and I've been told not to worry about it too much. I did have another scan today after a whole week of on and off brown spotting and they said everything looks absolutely fine. Hope everything works out for you! Xxx

Hi. I wiped and had brown blood around 8 weeks. I was booked in for a private scan that week.
They saw baby's heart beat and also asked if I had bled! As she could see i had.
I explained what had happened and that was it.... Just over 32 weeks now Smile
