Hello! I've booked an early pregnancy scan for this weekend where I will be 9+4. Do you think I will have to have an internal scan? Please could you attach your early pregnancy scan photos! 😃

Hiya, I had an early scan at 9 weeks exactly. They offered me an abdominal one first but said they’d recommend an internal as it’s far more likely to see it properly and clearer so I just went with an internal one. The sonographer was female (the only thing I was worried about tbh) and it was a bit uncomfortable but not very painful. It hurt a bit afterwards when she was moving it sideways to see the ovaries. As soon as it went in though we saw the baby immediately and could see the heartbeat and he/she was doing lots of wiggles🥰 Attached is my scan, yours will be quite clear being 9+4 so that’s great!
