Pulling pains in the belly

Hi, I am really sorry for the question but I have been worrying the whole day. I am 31 weeks pregnant and today while I was having a bath I was trying to soap my back but I have done some really sharp weird movement and my belly pulled on the right hand side and I have been feeling this pulling pain since 5-6 hours on and off, it's not really a very bad pain but enough uncomfortable to worry could I have pulled something inside the wumb that's important for the baby. I don't care about how I feel, if I feel sure the baby is ok I will then get over it and hopefully I will feel better tomorrow.

Another thing that has been happening lately is some kind of really sharp pain in my lower abdomen, I can't even walk for a little while but that goes away within a few minutes like maybe 5 minutes when I sit down and rest and then happens again in a few days.

Apart from all that baby's active and kicks about but I always worry if he/she is ok.

Please share if you have experienced similar things. Thank you for reading.

Hey ! No need to apologise for asking questions. I've had similar things happen to me and also get the sharp pains quite regularly. I've spoken to my midwife about it and she said it sounds like pelvic girdle pain and round ligament pain. Just from the bump growing. Look at both of those terms and it should make sense that they can cause this kind of pain.

If in doubt, call or speak to your midwife though! They don't mind answering questions!
