Title says it all really. Didn’t fall over completely but was going down steps and ended up in a sort of squat with one leg out in front of me. No pain or twinges in bump, a mildly sore lower back but that’s been a feature of the last few weeks so not sure if I’ve jarred it or not. No differences in foetal movement but this was less than an hour ago so obviously I will keep an eye on that today.

I am very anxious about everything at the moment & not sure whether to phone maternity assessment. Any advice?

Ring them - they always say they’d rather you ring them about nothing than not ring them about something. I’m sure you will be absolutely fine, but it will set your mind at rest. Hope you’re not too sore!

Thanks Spudlet. Will see how my back feels in a bit - I’ve already phoned the assessment unit twice in this pregnancy & I hate feeling like a nuisance Sad Baby’s squirming away in there so I’m not too concerned right now but will keep an eye on things

Just take it easy - I slipped on the stairs at around full-term and baby was absolutely fine (now a 4yo little terror!) but it crocked my pelvis for some time after (I already had SPD and that was the point at which I really started to struggle). Don’t overdo it, your body is working hard right now!
