I'm sorry for your previous losses. Flowers

I have only had one child, but didn't feel movement until 22 weeks. The reason given for this was an anterior placenta.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 17/01/2020 12:32

I also didn't feel movement until 22 weeks. Try not to worry but if you are concerned ask your midwife just to be safe.

I'm 19 weeks and 6 days and still haven't felt anything, I neeed to feel something soon!! I've had 7 scans and heard heartbeat Wednesday so I'm assuming it's my extra 'padding' on my tummy!

Delbelleber · 17/01/2020 13:18

I felt my first 2 around 19 weeks.this is my 3rd and barely feeling anything at 21w but scan revealed anterior placenta. Desperately wanting to feel some proper reassuring movement here.
Sorry for your losses.

Ah thank you ladies for your replies feeling a little more reassured now, hopefully baby will start moving soon, I have a had so much gas bubbles since like 14 weeks but always ends in gas but I suppose it could be both xx

Lol pregnancy has me particularly gassy and bloated as well Blush
Still no movements today. I had a feel about my tummy and couldn't find him either, he has disappeared! Yesterday I felt a hard part that I was prodding at and getting some movements back in return. Not very much but that was really one of the first times I have felt him and believed its not just my own body. Its so hard to tell sometimes.
When is your scan?

oldsizenines · 18/01/2020 21:43

Same as previous posters - had movement for the first time about 21/22 weeks. Also an anterior placenta. They told me at the 12 week scan it was anterior so I didn't panic but I know some people who didn't get told that at the 12 week scan so we're understandably worried.

My scan is on the 3rd so stl got nearly 2 weeks to go it takes sooo long they didn't say anything at 12 weeks but I don't think they usually tell until 20 weeks here where the placenta is they basically just checked baby is alive and on growth schedule and that there was just 1 that was it I've tried to look at other placenta and mine but my pictures were so bad just about see where baby is lol let alone where the placenta is
