My BFP and worries

Hey Ladies,

It's been a long time since I posted in here. I came across Mumsnet when I had my miscarriage with my first pregnancy. I was 11 weeks when it happened, but it was a delayed miscarriage because I had actually lost the baby at 6 weeks.

A few months later I had a miscarriage with my 2nd pregnancy although I was only 5 weeks.

Today I got my 3rd BFP at 4weeks 2 days, after 18months of trying.

I'm over the moon (again) and excited, but I am so nervous and worried. I want to try and enjoy it and not worry about what could happen, but with what has happened over the last year I can't seem to settle myself.

And ladies out their been in a similar situation? Id love to hear from you.

I had a mmc with my first. I found out at my 12 week scan (I was suppose to be 13 weeks cause I was on holiday the week before) found out that the baby had died at 11+6. My second pregnancy, I started spotting at 10 weeks, when i had a scan, they said I was only 4 weeks (no baby, or sack etc) another mmc. My third pregnancy, I had a healthy and beautiful DD. I also had another miscarriage 2 months ago but wasn't aware I was pregnant (DD was breastfed so i wasn't having any periods) and I'm now pregnant for the fifth time. Im filled with such anxiety too. I have my fingers crossed for you. I know it's hard. But try to enjoy your pregnancy, thats one of the one things I regret from my second mmc. I spent 24/7 really anxious that I didn't enjoy a second of it. And i really wish I would have done. I hope everything goes well for you op. Congratulations!!! [Flowers]

@Plattsy88 you have no need to thank me. I just hope you enjoy your pregnancy. After my second, I started to convince myself that there must be something wrong with me and I shouldn't be a mum. But that's what grief does to you. Because the way I see it, them miscarried children are still your children. It was just as hard to me as a parent losing a child they had given birth too. But i learnt that whether it goes well, or god forbid, goes bad. Enjoy the time you have. Whether it be 4 weeks or 40 years. I really do hope your pregnancy sticks and you have to put up with all that morning sickness for months 😉😉 how far long are you?X

@SavanahXx
I'm only 4weeks+2, but I've had a feeling for about 5/6 days as my cycle length is a religious 25 days, so when I got to 28 days in my cycle I had a feeling something was happening. So todays day 31 and I decided to take a test today and it was positive!
I did take a test this morning but the digital test failed and I only got a blank screen, so I had to wait till I got home from work to do another and then it was. BFP.
I'll be ringing my hospital tomorrow as when I had the miscarriage they told me to ring them as soon as I found out I as pregnant again so they could book me in for a 7 week scan. So I didn't want to hang around and wait to take my test you see.

@Plattsy88 i see what you mean. Im only 6+3. My doctor was an arse though and refused to do my bloods to see if my hcg is rising because there would be "nothing they could do" I came out absolutely gutted! I'm glad your epu are on the ball with it. The more reassured you are, the better 😄 I knew I was pregnant pretty much straight away. I know it sounds crazy. My cycles have always been pretty up and down because of my losses. Especially given that my last was only 2 months ago. But I started coming on, on the 1st. And I took a test on boxing day because I just knew. It came back negative and i was gutted. Thought I was losing the plot. Finally got my BFP on new year's day though! At least I know I wasn't going crazy haha! X
