What did your early scan look like?

I just had my first scan at 7+2 and have attached a couple of pictures. I was able to see the heartbeat which was just incredible.

I’m curious to see what other people’s early scans looked like? Can you post a pic of yours with how far along you were to see how they all differ and develop

This is mine at exactly 9 weeks. Seeing the screen is infinitely better than the images though, the heartbeat and the little wiggles🥰

Mine just looked like a little raspberry with a heart beat at 7ish weeks

12+3 - abdominally

Following this as I have my early scan on Saturday where I’ll be 8 weeks . Such a cute selection of photos ! That 3D one is incredible ! X

Aww thank you PP. It was so lovely to see 3D early on. The second scan was actually misdiagnosed as twins as the yolk sac looked like it had a heartbeat. The sonographer felt so sorry for me as I was in floods of tears after I thought I'd lost a baby that he gave me the 3D scan just to be sure there was no 2nd baby and think he felt a bit sorry for me that someone had got it so wrong.

It looked so much clearer on the screen than on the picture and we got to hear the heartbeat too.

I didn't have my first one until 12 weeks - think this is the norm with NHS unless a problem suspected or having additional care? Got a pretty good photo 😊 Got my 20-week one tomorrow and very nervous!

This was mine at 8+2 weeks, strange looking little thing! I couldn't believe how much it had changed at the 12 week scan.

@RainMinusBow I went privately for an early scan because I found out so early there was no way I could wait for my 12 week scan. And I was so anxious I just wanted reassurance. Good luck with your 20 week tomorrow! Will you find out the gender?
