Hello, regular poster recently sorry

So I’ve had absolutely horrific sickness , started before I got my BFP and the drs have prescribed me Cyclizine as I have lost weight and couldn’t stomach anything . It’s been dreadful and I’ve actually been quite depressed . I’m 7 weeks.

Anyway I then developed a cold two days ago that wiped me out and the sickness meds seemed to have helped me sleep (make you drowsy) and I managed a cereal bar this morn for the first time in weeks . Then it hit me , I feel ok . Other than on and off sharp pain in my left breast and a general cold , I feel fine . Is this a bad sign ? Can you tell me some words of wisdom to stop worrying and whether you have experience that this is ok? I haven’t had any cramping or bleeding, not even spotting or any pains . It’s my first pregnancy so I’ve been riddled with anxiety I’m actually quite miserable . I do have an early scan next weekend which I’m looking forward to .

Thank you

I had nausea, sore boobs and a few of the other symptoms early on like week 4/5/6 got to the end of week 6 and they have all gone minus the odd spot and cramp. I had an early scan last week at 8 weeks and we saw a heartbeat and everything was how it should be now at week 9 and still no major symptoms, I also had my booking appointment with my midwife friday and she said everyone is affected differently so not to worry. Hope this helps a little!

I posted a message similar to yours a couple of weeks ago. Although I didn't have extreme morning sickness I did have it and then it just disappeared around 6-7weeks and I was panicking. Mine still hasn't returned and I'm now 8+6. I paid for an early scan which showed everything is fine and I've spoken to my midwife as well. She said it's completely normal for symptoms to come and go and not to read into it.

I know it's difficult but try not to worry. I still find it hard to believe I'm pregnant some days because I'm not vomiting or feeling nauseous every day but I really don't think there is 'normal' when it comes to pregnancy symptoms. They are so unpredictable!

Strange this is I had a bad cold that put me in bed for a few days and my symptoms disappeared after that as well. I've had a blocked nose ever since and I wonder if that's helping as I can't smell much!

@Charchar19 phew thank you so much! Fingers crossed I have good news at my scan next week. Isn’t it funny I was praying to feel better as I just couldn’t cope feeling so poorly , then all of a sudden I want it back again 🤦🏽‍♀️
@Sarahlouise86 yeah as soon as I reached 7 weeks it’s just gone !! So weird ! I wonder if the cold had something to do with it . I hate this anxiety I 100% was not expecting this

Could it not be that the meds kicked in and are working?

I'm 7wks 4days and about 36 hours ago symptoms disappeared. I didn't have bad nausea, bit had sore boobs and fast heart rate and was exhausted. Looked it up on Google and lots of women report loss of symptoms at about 7wks, most of them had healthy scans. My next scan is Wednesday so fingers crossed xxx

You will find symptoms will Probally come back and go throughout pregnancy. I had really bad sore boobs early pregnancy (didn't know I wa pregnant at the time) by time I found out I was pregnant around 7 weeks ish they had stopped hurting and it was only then I realised why they was so sore for the weeks before hand.. I've had nausea on and off throughout now 38 weeks. Exhaustion has come and gone throughout too.
Try and relax and not symptom spot or anything as they honestly don't mean alot. I went through my 1st pregnancy without any symptoms at all only reason I knew I was pregnant was due to the positive test.

Symptoms definitely come and go. I had constant nausea and bloating all day from week 5/6 and then around 7 weeks for two days I had nothing. My midwife reassured me this is normal and sure enough it came back with a vengeance. It does peak and trough depending upon your babies development milestones and when you get hormone surges. I had scans at 7 weeks, 8.5 weeks and 11.5 weeks and everything was perfect, now I’m 14.5 weeks and just started feeling a bit better beginning of last week but then today feeling sicky and headachey and uncomfortable again. It will come and go, try to stay relaxed 😊

Thanks everyone , it means a lot to get your support . Woke up feeling sick again today and no appetite so you were right . Not long til my scan at 8 weeks this Saturday where hopefully it’ll reassure me a little ! x

Hi @GaaaaarlicBread I know this is an older post. And I apologise if this bring back any trauma. But was just wondering how you got on in the end?

I am 7 weeks pregnant, following 2 Miscarriages and I could of written your post myself. So worried the sudden lack of symptoms means something bad. I had a scan last Friday and saw a little heartbeat. Don't think I cam handle another loss!
