Hello everybody,
First pregnancy, and first post. I think that I am around 5 + 4 weeks. My doctor could see a sac at 5 + 1 weeks but following blood tests she seems concerned that my HCG levels are 550 at this point after seeing a sac and is asking me to do more tests and come back a week earlier than planned for another scan (so I feel like she is concerned).
I will have an answer myself in a few days when I get the results back, but can anyone give me an idea if these figures are actually fine and she is being over-cautious, or if there is something to worry about so I can be prepared?
P.s. I am not in the UK - where I am it is normal to have so many tests and scans so early in pregnancy, although on the balance I think it is totally stress-inducing !!
